What exactly IS our eco HUB and its potential

At the end of 2021 we have created a modern ecological hub with our new corporate headquarters. But we - and many others - see much more in our eco HUB: a project close to our hearts, which was build to not only shape our own future, but also the future of the logistics industry.

The almost two-year planning phase had its difficulties: "Sustainability" is easy to say, but far less easy to create. We had to deal intensively with the interaction of energy, heating and cooling, water and wastewater. Our goal was not to get back to simple standard solutions, but to think and build in a new and individual way.

The result is new, innovative and sustainable for the environment - also large and spacious to function as a corporate headquarters for us and our customers.

As a lighthouse project, the eco Hub has already been presented at many events; time and again it has been seen as what it should be: trend-setting.

AWARD ACCORDING TO THE DGNB STANDARD

Award

The German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) has assured us of a gold award for our eco HUB following a preliminary review - the so-called pre-check. We accept this honor gratefully and with pride.

FUTURE

THE SPECIAL STRUCTURAL FEATURES IN TERMS OF SUSTAINABILITY:

In the almost 2-year planning phase for our new building, we dealt a lot with the issue of sustainability and examined the interaction of energy, heat and cold, water and waste water.

As a lighthouse project, the eco HUB has already been presented as an example at various events. The highlights in terms of sustainability are:
